Hallowe’en Quiz

Hallowe’en is upon us, and a large percentage of the United Kingdom has spent the weekend carving pumpkins, making witches’ finger biscuits, emptying the supermarket shelves of sweets and trying to stuff 4 pairs of black tights (des collants noirs) with newspapers to make spiders’ legs for a fabulous disguise like Katie and I did.
The rest of Europe watches on nonplussed and celebrates Hallowe’en in waves depending how festive/commercially desperate they are feeling. No doubt you have attended at least one Hallowe’en event in your life but how well do you really know the tradition?
